Uzbekistan's Energy ministry talks successful gas flow at Kashkadarya field

Oct. 28-- Oct. 28--On Oct. 28, 2019, Uzbekistan's Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company received an industrial flow of natural gas with a preliminary flow rate of 250,000-300,000 cubic meters per day at the Ermok field, Trend reports citing the press service of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Energy.

Industrial inflows from the well No. 3 were received in the Kashkadarya oil and gas region at the Ermok field, said the message.

Drilling of well No. 3 was launched in March this year with the aim of studying the oil and gas potential of the Jurassic carbonate deposits and was drilled to a depth of 3,300 meters. In the process of testing the well in the range of 3,133-3,065 meters, an industrial influx of natural gas was obtained with a preliminary flow rate of 250,000-300,000 cubic meters per day, the Ministry said.

According to the ministry, that in the next 3 days, gas condensate studies will be carried out at the well to study the parameters of the promising formation, and it is also planned to continue exploration work at the Ermok field by drilling regular exploration wells. -- Follow author on Twitter:@vakilovfaxri
