EnerCom, Inc. successfully wrapped-up the 25th anniversary of its annual The Oil & Gas Conference. The conference is the largest independent oil and gas investor conference in the USA and offers investment professionals the opportunity to listen to senior management teams in the oil and gas industry present operational and financial strategies and to gain exposure to important energy topics affecting the global oil and gas industry.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, EnerCom had to celebrate the silver anniversary of the conference by hosting an all-virtual event that took place from Monday, August 17th through Wednesday August 19th, 2020.
The 2020 edition of the Conference feature sixty public and private oil and gas companies with operations around the world, including the U.S. shale basins, Canada, the Gulf of Mexico and both on and off-shore South America. In addition, the conference hosted over two-hundred One-on-One meetings between capital investors and senior management teams.
The virtual component of the event attracted the traditionally large, North American capital markets audience, but also accommodated a very broad, international pool of investor attendees from countries such as United States Minor Outlying Islands, United Kingdom, Colombia, Argentina, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Norway, Nigeria, Austria and Hong Kong.
In addition to numerous marquee oil and gas company presentations, the Conference featured an Energy Innovation Capital Accelerator Session with presentations from high-growth companies offering proven solutions to cut costs, improve production efficiencies and enhance ESG performance; and riveting panels and keynote speeches from global energy industry leaders covering topics on the post-COVID economy; market strategies; government policy, politics and international trade; global commodities markets; ESG approaches and reporting; oil and gas exports; frac sand supply and logistics; and capital sources for energy development.
EnerCom, Inc.’s President, Aaron Vandeford, stated, “EnerCom’s mission is to bring good ideas together with capital and the 2020 edition of The Oil and Gas Conference was a huge success in accomplishing that for our world-wide presenters and attendees. We received several encouraging comments regarding the quality of the presentations, One-on-One meetings and production.” He added, “I have to thank my team at EnerCom that worked so hard to shift the Conference from an in-person event in Denver to an all-virtual format in such a short time.”
Recordings of all the presentations will be available on the conference website for re-play at www.theoilandgasconference.com and on oilandgas360.com
The dates for the 2021 The Oil and Gas Conference will be August 15th through the 18th with an in-person event at the Westin Denver Downtown.
