Rosehill Resources (ticker: ROSE) is a Delaware basin-focused oil and gas company with approximately 5,000 net acres in the basin. Rosehill was formed in 2017 following the combination of Tema Oil and Gas Company and KLR Energy—which operated as a special-purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, for the combination.

Approximately 80% of Rosehill’s acreage in the Delaware Basin is held by production. In the Delaware assets, the company reported 12,956 MBOE in proved reserves, 80.1% of which are liquids. Across the approximately 5,000 net acres, Rosehill has identified approximately 250 gross (225 net) drilling locations. The company’s strategy for growth will include the organic development of its core acreage position in Loving County as well as focused acquisitions in the Delaware basin.

Rosehill, as of December, 2016, had 20 gross operated horizontal wells and one vertical operated well in its portfolio. It also operates 18 vertical and 21 horizontal wells in the Barnett shale, all of which are meant to support the company’s Delaware drilling program.
