Vienna, Apr 12 (EFE).- The basket of crude oil used as a benchmark indicator by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or OPEC, rose to $37.02, the OPEC Secretariat said on Tuesday.
OPEC said the price of its basket, which includes 13 varieties of crude, increased by $1.01 on Monday, compared with the closing price of the previous session.
The June delivery of Brent crude opened at $42.59 a barrel at the start of Tuesday's trading on the futures market, a decrease of 0.62 percent from the previous session's close. EFE
