, Mar 23 (EFE).- The basket of crude oil used as a benchmark indicator by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or OPEC, rose to $36.86, the OPEC Secretariat said on Wednesday.
OPEC said the price of its basket, which includes 13 varieties of crude, increased by $0.41 on Tuesday, compared with the closing price of the previous session.
May delivery of Brent crude opened at $41.35 a barrel at the start of Wednesday's trading on the futures market, with a decrease of 1 percent from the previous session's close. EFE
