Some time in mid-January, a fully customized Peterbilt Model 567 Heritage will roll off the assembly line, just like so many others have before it – 999,999 others to be exact.
To celebrate the production milestone of the company’s one-millionth truck, Peterbilt has kicked off a SuperFan campaign to identify the biggest fan of the iconic trucking brand.
To commemorate the event, The Peterbilt SuperFan promotion will recognize five SuperFans through a promotional campaign that will culminate with a special presentation at the 2018 Mid America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky.
One finalist will be tapped as Top SuperFan and will be presented with the keys to the milestone millionth truck. Peterbilt is accepting submissions from fans in the U.S. and Canada through a special website through Dec. 22. People are encouraged to visit the website and submit their stories, videos and photos that show their passion and what makes them a SuperFan. The five finalists will be selected after the New Year.
“The Peterbilt brand is built on loyalty,” Peterbilt General Manager Kyle Quinn says. “It is the lifeblood of our business. We want to reward that loyalty and the 1,000,000th truck milestone will be the perfect opportunity. We have the best and most loyal customers and fans in the industry, and I’m excited to see and hear their stories.”
Here is how Peterbilt describes the 567 Heritage: the head-turning exterior features bright bumper, grille bars, exhaust stacks, mirrors and sun visor, chrome air intake bezel, and metal hood latches. Command attention with polished rocker panels, battery boxes, fuel tanks and more. Each truck is uniquely numbered and adorned with exclusive Heritage badging on the grille and sleeper.
