NAI Ohio River Corridor to Sponsor Shale Directories Inaugural Appalachian Basin Real Estate Conference
Shale Directories, the leading conference producer within the Appalachian Basin, and NAI Ohio River Corridor announce The Inaugural Appalachian Basin Real Estate Conference which will be held on December 11th and 12th at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia.
“With completion of the Shell Polymer complex in Monaca, Pennsylvania and the imminent announcement of the PTTGC cracker plant in Dilles Bottom, Ohio, the Appalachian Basin is on its way to becoming the second major petrochemical hub in the United States,” stated Joe Barone, President, Shale Directories. The combined investment in these two cracker plants is $16 billion, making the region poised for industrial, commercial and residential investments.
The Inaugural Appalachian Basin Real Estate Conference is sponsored by Ohio River Corridor, LLC and NAI Ohio River Corridor (NAI ORC) the region’s leading commercial and industrial site selection and real estate consultation group in the Ohio River Valley. “We are pleased to be the sponsor of this inaugural event,” commented Bryce Custer, SIOR, CCIM, and principal of NAI Ohio River Corridor, local affiliate for NAI Global and subsidiary of Ohio River Corridor, LLC. “The recent drone attacks in Saudi Arabia and flooding in the Gulf and abundance of natural gas make the Ohio River Valley a logical location for a second petrochemical hub in the U.S.,” added Custer.
He went on to say, “I have seen an influx of national and international companies into the Ohio River Valley over the last couple of years, but this is just the beginning of a major re-industrialization of the region. With existing rail, river and road infrastructure, the Ohio River Valley offers superior supply chain and logistics for national and international companies looking to participate in this petrochemical hub.”
The conference speakers will include Adam Bruns, editor, Site Selection Magazine; Matt Kelley, principal at Novogradac, the leading Federal Opportunity Zone accounting firm in the nation; Tom Gellrich, principal at TopLine Analytics, an internationally recognized petrochemical expert; Charles Zelek, Senior Economist, Department of Energy Fossil Fuels and Mark Locker, Maritime and Freight Project Manager with ODOT.
The conference will introduce business and real estate opportunities throughout the Appalachian Basin to investors and developers domestically and globally.
Conference sponsorships are available by contacting Joe Barone, jbarone@shaledirectories.com
