Memorial Resource Development – Day Two Breakout Notes
John Weinzierl, Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Resource Development Corporation (NASDAQ: MRD), presented today at EnerCom’s The Oil & Gas Conference® 20.
Memorial Resource Development Corp. is an independent natural gas and oil company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of natural gas and oil properties in North Louisiana.
The company’s net production increased 39% to 268 MMcfe/d for the second quarter 2015 compared to 193 MMcfe/d for the second quarter 2014. Memorial Resource Development Corp. has added 31,257 net acres year-to-date in and around its Terryvale Field asset in North Louisiana.
During the company’s breakout session, management was asked the following questions:
- There are tons of wells that came online in your report, how do you go about drilling and operating them?
- I’m just curious about the acreage added this year. How do you approach the new properties?
- Are you seeing every one of those Cotton Valley completions as potential horizontal candidates?
