Evolution Petroleum Breakout Notes
Randall D. Keys, president and CEO of Evolution Petroleum Corp., (ticker: EPM) presented today at EnerCom’s The Oil & Gas Conference® 22.
Evolution Petroleum is a Houston-based oil company that has its foundational asset in the Delhi field in northeast Louisiana. There Evolution is undertaking CO2-enhanced oil recovery operations.
During the company’s breakout session, management was asked the following questions:
- Can you talk about the areas you already CO2 flooding? How long until the pressure will stabilize? Do you have new areas that you plan to CO2 flood?
- Why was the dividend raised 15% last year?
- Denbury has cut back on CO2 use in lots of fields. What impact does that have? Have you noticed significant drop-off?
- Are there opportunities to existing flood-programs? How successful this field has been to you? Have you looked around surrounding areas, like the legacy assets?
- Are there any secondary or tertiary project in that area of Louisiana potentially?
- What are the sizes of the projects you talked about for future CO2 flooding in a couple of areas?
- About the infill program in 2018, what do you expect? Just to keep production flat or you will see production increase?
- When do you think your NGLs will be fully up?
- Is there a target growth with your NGL plant?
- Could you finance part of NGL plant somewhere else?
- About Denbury, is there comment about management changes? Is there any pressure to reduce any amount of debt?
- How much CO2 is lost when you bring in new CO2 from an outside source close by?
