Mark Hurley, CEO of Blueknight Energy Partners, (ticker: BKEP) presented today at EnerCom’s The Oil & Gas Conference® 22.

Blueknight Energy Partners is involved in crude oil transportation pipelines, gathering systems, transport trucks, and storage solutions. The company has infrastructure and assets spanning the U.S.—with over 6.6 million barrels of crude oil storage capacity in Cushing, OK.

Blueknight reported a Q2 net income of $6.4 million. Blueknight’s CEO, Mark Hurley, noted that its storage capacity in Cushing is fully contract and that its inventories remain above the 5-year average.

During the company’s breakout session, management was asked the following questions:

  • Can you build new facilities relatively easily if there is a big program for infrastructure? Can you talk about the SCOOP play?
  • As far as about scaling projects, do you usually utilize full time employees or you turn to contractors?
