March 1 is the opening day for the EnerCom Dallas oil and gas investment conference. Things kick off at 7:35 a.m. at the Tower Club on top of the Thanksgiving Tower in downtown Dallas.

Greg Barnett, EnerCom’s founder, will start things off with introductions and comments entitled “What We Do in Baseball Has Applications in the Oil Business.”
WPX Energy (ticker: WPX), Range Resources (ticker: RRC), Earthstone Energy (ticker: ESTE), Core Laboratories (ticker: CLB) and Sanchez Energy (ticker: SN) start off the public company presentations, followed by Michael Carey, Credit Agricole economist, PeroQuest Energy (ticker: PQ), Whiting Petroleum (ticker: WLL) and privately held big data provider BetaZi LLC.
The first day lunch presenter is Pioneer Natural Resources (ticker: PXD).
After lunch, Pluspetrol (private), Granite Oil Corp. (ticker: GXO), Frederik Andersen of DNB Bank ASA, and Unit Corp. (ticker: UNT) offer presentations.
