Cowboy Clean Fuels is pioneering the development of the world’s first scalable, carbon-negative renewable natural gas (RNG) venture starting in Wyoming’s Powder River Basin.
Cowboy utilizes subsurface geologic formations as geobio-reactors to simultaneously produce RNG while sequestering carbon dioxide (CO2).
Cowboy enhances depleted fossil fuel assets by introducing renewable biomass feedstocks to the microorganisms that are native to the geologic system and then leverages natural processes, such as metabolism and methanogenesis to produce RNG and sequester CO2 geologically, which leads to significant quantities of environmental credits.
