Martin Cheyne, President and Chief Executive Officer and Clayton Thatcher, Vice President of Geophysics of DeeThree Exploration (DTX) presented today at EnerCom’s The Oil & Gas Conference® 17. Their crude oil and natural gas exploration is concentrated in western Canada. DeeThree’s core operating areas are the Peace River Arch area of northwestern Alberta and the Brazeau area in west central Alberta, which are prospective for natural gas, light crude oil and natural gas liquids; and the Lethbridge region of southern Alberta which features shallow gas and prospective Bakken light oil. Its portfolio reflects a balanced and diverse production base.
During the company’s breakout session, management was asked the following questions:
- When do you see your cash flows catching up with your capital expenditures?
- What is your recovery factor?
- What is your hedging strategy?
- With the next eight wells to be drilled, how many of those will be in the area specified in your presentation?
- Are there any seasonal restrictions with your operations, considering the possibility of harsh winters in Alberta?
- Can you explain or describe the recent activity in your stock?
- Have any of the major players shown new interest in the area since your discovery?
- Conoco seems to be drilling near you. Are they drilling at different depths?
