Aviation & Oil Company Executive Christopher Cooper Rejoins MercFuel as EVP

Cooper to help lead Mercury Air Group subsidiary as consolidation
hits aviation fuel market

Joseph A. Czyzyk, Chairman and CEO of Mercury Air Group, Inc., announced
today that Christopher Cooper has rejoined the company’s subsidiary,
MercFuel, as Executive Vice President of Corporate Fuels. Cooper will
partner with MercFuel’s senior executive, Homan Asiri, in directing the
strategic growth of the company through the consolidations occurring in
the general aviation marketplace. MercFuel provides aviation fuel to
commercial and general aviation customers through a network of more than
1,000 fuel supply arrangements in the U.S. and 2,000 international
locations.

“I am delighted to welcome Chris back to the Mercury family. His first
hand understanding of aviation and the oil industry will provide a
competitive advantage to MercFuel’s customers. By partnering with Homan
and our entire team across the globe, I know that MercFuel will see
continued growth,” said Czyzyk.

Prior to rejoining Mercury, Cooper held senior level positions with
Chevron, including Global Marketing Manager for their global aviation
business. He was also responsible for divesting Chevron’s aviation fuels
businesses in Latin America, the Caribbean and Central Africa. Cooper
has also held senior positions with Phillips 66, where he managed
distribution of productions from Phillips 66’s refineries and terminals
into the marketplace as well as the coordination of product purchases
with other oil companies and third-party suppliers. When previously with
Mercury, Cooper was Director and General Manager of Corporate Fuels.

“The general aviation marketplace is consolidating. Direct branded oil
company supply to general aviation has stopped and today there are only
two major international FBO service brands. MercFuel’s future is built
upon steering our customers through all of the consolidations to ensure
that they are successful. I am energized to be back at Mercury and
helping our commercial and general aviation customers across the globe,”
said Cooper.
