LOS ANGELES, Jan. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- American Elements announced today an expansion of its bulk Niobium C-103 alloy production capacities in their Salt Lake City, Utah plant location. The new production capacity covers all forms of the material including rods, plates, tubes, sheets, ingots, and powders suitable for demanding environments that require exceptionally heat-resistant materials.
The increased capacity will affect deliveries beginning in mid-March 2019 and will allow for multi-truckload/rail car orders, according to a statement by the company. "This expansion of our alloy production line allows us to better meet the increasing demand for a domestic supplier of niobium alloys to the aerospace and additive manufacturing industries," said American Elements CEO Michael Silver.
