Paul Welch, Chief Executive Officer – Chariot Oil & Gas (OIGLF)



Paul has extensive oil and gas industry experience having worked for Shell International for 12 years, followed by a further eleven years with independent companies, most recently with Hunt Oil and Pioneer Natural Resources prior to joining Chariot Oil & Gas in October of 2009.

Paul is an engineer by training; graduating from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden CO. with both BS and MS degrees in Petroleum Engineering.  He subsequently earned an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas TX.  Paul is also an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Paul lives with his wife and daughter in London, England where Chariot has its representative office.
