Goodrich Petroleum (ticker: GDP)is an independent exploration and production company engaged in the exploitation, development and production of natural gas and crude oil primarily in the Haynesville Shale in Northeast Texas and Northwest Louisiana, the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale (TMS) in Eastern Louisiana and Southwestern Mississippi, and the oil-window of the Eagle Ford Shale trend in south Texas.

Q2 highlights

  • Production grew 67% over the previous year period and 66% sequentially to an average of 60,600 Mcfe per day
  • Since the end of the second quarter production has averaged 75,500 Mcfe per day
  • Goodrich expects year-end exit rate of approximately 100,000 Mcfe per day
  • Adjusted EBITDA increased to $8.9 million
  • The borrowing base was revised upward to $60 million
  • Two rigs are running in Louisiana

  • You talked about swaps in the presentation, can you comment on your use of swaps.
  • How much working interest do you have?
  • Can you comment on your activity level?
  • Can you comment a little about the gathering costs? In the presentation you said it is between 20-25 cents. Can you comment on the range you are seeing from your partners?
  • Are you seeing any new entities coming and asking you to supply gas for them?
  • Can you comment on your well spacings?
  • Can you talk about the Bossier upside? What is your view on kind of rate of return on Bossier wells and gas prices on Bossier?
  • You were talking about the TMS earlier. Can you go over it?
  • Did you also get guidance on Eagle Ford? Are you in a rush to sell that asset or wait till the right deal comes through?
  • Are there takeaway capacity concerns?
